How to Play

The format of this game has been kept deliberately simple. It isn't to everybody's taste, but if you like a Fantasy Football competition that doesn't need a lot of work or effort to stay competitive, you're in the right place.

To enter, simply pick a team consisting of 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 strikers. You have no budget to worry about, but you are only allowed to pick 1 player from any of the Premier League teams.

You are able to make as many changes to your player selections as you like, as often as you like, leading up to the start of the competition. As soon as the first game kicks off, all teams in the competition will be restricted to just 3 transfers which can be used at any time. An additional 3 transfers will be awarded to each team on (or around) 1st January. Transfers will only count for games that are scheduled to kick-off after the change was made.

All selected players will score points for your team based on their performance in each game, as set out on the 'How to Score' page. Where transfers are made, points will only be awarded for matches that kick-off after the transfer was made. You will not lose any points already awarded to players that your transfer out.

As well as competing on an individual level in our Overall League table, you can also Create or Join a Personal league to challenge your friends, family or work colleagues. A bit of friendly banter certainly makes the competition more enjoyable.

If you select your favoured Football Club when submitting your entry, you may also be contributing to the success of your Club in our Club league table, where the top scoring fan for each club will have their total added to their clubs score.
